I collaborated from the UK via Zoom with their master craftsman, Robert Bellamy. I asked for a platinum ring with a centre larger diamond with two little friends. He explained diamond clarity, colour, and size. We then discussed diamond mounting and ring configurations. Throughout this process he was developing and using 3D visualisations of the ring so we could explore options. This was essential when discussing budget, potential artistic embellishments, and establishing confidence ahead of the ring being made.

Pavection organised for secure international shipping to London. This included tax invoices and insurance policies. The ring arrived as scheduled before the date of my planned proposal. This is even more impressive considering the delays inherited from COVID. Inside the package were two different size gift boxes – a standard ring box and a larger gift box – so I could use the best one for the occasion. A very polished delivery.

I proposed shortly after receiving the engagement ring. I remember her becoming aware of what was happening when she saw the box before I got down on one knee. I also remember her looking stunned when I opened the box revealing the ring. I feel proud to have been involved with the ring from inception. I am also happy she said yes!
